House and Garden Feature

We were recently featured in an online article in House and Garden, ‘The best interior design and cookery courses to sign up for now’, written by Fiona McKenzie Johnston.

Mentioned alongside The Calico Club and Leiths School of Food and Wine, the article brings together some of the best options for short courses and part time study around the UK.

On London Fine Art Studios it said:

“Situated in Battersea, London Fine Art Studios was established with the purpose of teaching classical drawing and oil painting and giving people the ability to translate real life onto paper or canvas. Founded by Ann Witheridge who herself trained at the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, there is now also tuition in sculpture, print making and etching, and specialised courses in specific areas such as landscape and still-life. “Students learn skills to give them the confidence to keep practicing their artwork and drawing beyond the studios,” says Ann. Evening classes, Saturday morning classes, and online provide a range of opportunity for anybody who wishes that they had continued their practice post-school, or simply want to improve and hone their technique – and it’s enriching in more ways than one. “The moments of silent focus are interspersed with animated coffee breaks,” confirms Ann.”
