As we approach the end of 2022, we thought now would be the perfect time to reflect on the last term, and especially the Studio Party!
It was such a joy to have the studios filled again in between all the various covid restrictions, and of course, to celebrate the end of term all together.
The range of costumes that came through the door were quite extraordinary – from Venus to Van Gogh, David Hockney to Chagall.
Whilst some definitely made more effort than others (not looking at anyone in particular), it made for quite the colourful evening.
A special thanks should be made for those wonderful helpers who turned 101 and 102 into some sort of fantasy artistic cave, complete with fairy lights and swathes of fabrics. The transformation was quite incredible. Wine and beer were flowing, music was playing, and everyone was fuelled by food from our favourite Thai, the Siam Brasserie. A personal note of thanks goes to whoever brought the panettone!
Have a look at the photos from the party here:
Ann would like to thank you all for studying with us over the autumn, and for the “supersonic” efforts made to dress up as your favourite artists and paintings.
We hope you enjoyed the term as much as we did, and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year!
Merry Christmas,
London Fine Art Studios.
